Peace Is Not One Idea: Reflections on a Decade of Peacebuilding Across Continents

After more than a decade working in peacebuilding across Lebanon, Europe, the United States, and Asia, I have come to a simple but profound realization: peace is not one universal idea. Every society, institution, and individual defines it differently. In this reflection, I explore how these competing visions shape our world, why dialogue remains essential, and why I believe sustainable peace begins with understanding our shared humanity before our differences.
