Speaking

Mahdi Yahya is a Lebanese peacebuilder, social entrepreneur, speaker, and founder of Peace of Art International. Drawing on more than a decade of experience in peacebuilding, civic engagement, arts-based social transformation, intercultural dialogue, youth leadership, and community resilience, he speaks on the role of grassroots leadership in building more peaceful and inclusive societies. His speaking work connects lived experience from Lebanon with broader global conversations on democracy, social cohesion, humanitarian responsibility, youth participation, and the future of peacebuilding.

Mahdi has contributed to international platforms and public discussions, including speaking at the European Parliament during the International Day of Democracy in 2018. His work has also been recognized internationally through the International Bremen Peace Award 2026 in the category of Pioneering Peace Work.
