Peace of Art Strengthens Cultural and Diplomatic Ties in Germany
During the official opening of MEP Matthias Ecke’s office in Dresden, Germany, Mahdi Yahya represented Peace of Art International and presented a Lebanese olive tree as a symbol of peace and friendship. The meeting highlighted the importance of cultural diplomacy, intercultural dialogue, and strengthening relations between Europe and the Middle East.
Empowering Young Migrants Through Art and Culture: Peacebuilding and Political Engagement Workshop in Dresden
On 27 October 2020, Mahdi Yahya facilitated a workshop in Dresden, Germany, focusing on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and political engagement among young migrants. Organized in partnership with ARBEIT UND LEBEN Sachsen, the event explored how art, culture, and civic participation can contribute to social inclusion, community resilience, and peaceful coexistence.
Recognition of Peace of Art at the Arab-German Dialogue Award 2019
On 9 October 2019, Peace of Art International was recognized among the Top Ten Humanitarian Initiatives in the Arab and European regions during the Arab-German Dialogue Award in Berlin. During the event, founder Dr. Mahdi Yahya presented the organization’s vision, achievements, and innovative approach to peacebuilding through art, education, youth leadership, and community engagement.
